Mole Day

The first chemistry club meeting happened to fall on Mole Day!
The executive members for this year were chosen:
  • President – Laura Dodge
  • Vice President – Anna Krzywdzinski
  • Treasurer – Courtney Osborne
We discussed some social events we may want to plan. They include:
- inter-departmental ultimate Frisbee or another sport (chem vs bio)
- skating
- a club Christmas party

We also plan on ordering club t-shirts for our members.

We plan on having some professors come in to talk to us about their research. Also, it would be nice to have a wine and cheese type of event at which students could get to know the chemistry professors casually.

In two weeks, we will have a meeting at which some graduate students will talk about their research and how they got there. This will be a good chance for undergraduate members to learn how their thesis and graduate studies will work.
